Online visibility of 1,300+ Balaton providers

We analysed the online presence of more than 1,300 Lake Balaton tourism providers item by item, using a proprietary evaluation system that traced the full digital visitor journey, from first search to completed booking. No study of this scale had been done for Hungarian providers before. The final report set out intervention-level development directions to raise the destination's digital maturity, and it became the foundation of our online-sales and AI-visibility practice.

How does a provider base built on development funding actually appear online, and how well does it meet the expectations of the digital age? We answered this by analysing the online presence of more than 1,300 providers item by item, with a comparable, proprietary evaluation system, tracing the full digital visitor journey , from the first search to a successful booking. The approach was novel: no study of this scale had been done for Hungarian providers before. The final report set out concrete, intervention-level development directions that measurably increase the destination's digital maturity. Born at the intersection of academic research and market analysis, this project is the foundation of our entire online-sales and AI-visibility practice.
