Wine and gastronomy development plan
We assessed provider quality and the tourism significance of each location through field visits, then built a proprietary rating system to rank the surveyed wineries and gastro destinations. Alongside the funding proposals, we identified both ready-to-use and development-worthy attractions to underpin the destination value proposition and later brand strategies. The same repeatable methodology was applied across three regions: Lake Balaton, Tokaj-Upper Tisza-Nyírség and Sopron-Fertő, basing the recommendations on measurement rather than estimation.
We built a proprietary rating system to rank wineries and gastro destinations in three priority regions , basing the development and funding proposals on measurement, not guesswork.
Project detail
The aim was to make wine- and gastro-tourism supply developable on the basis of measurement, not estimation. We assessed provider quality and the tourism significance of each location through field visits, then built a proprietary rating system to rank the surveyed wineries and gastro destinations. Alongside the funding proposals, we identified both ready-to-use and development-worthy attractions that formed the basis of the destination value proposition and later brand strategies. We applied the same repeatable methodology in three separate projects: Lake Balaton, Tokaj–Upper Tisza–Nyírség and Sopron–Fertő. The work reflects our approach: research rigour, market-based evaluation and creative, usable recommendations in one.
